                                         Dental Assistant
Duties and Responsibilities: Assistants perform lab tasks, like taking impressions of a patient's teeth. They prepare materials needed for the procedure. Dental assistants complete tasks like helping the dentists with procedures and keeping patients records. They perform patient care, office and laboratory duties.


Salary: Average and Median Salaries - earn an average of $34,740 per year


Education: Students interested in the career as a dental assistant should take courses in biology, chemistry and anatomy. Some states require people to pass the state exam and graduate from an accredited program. Accredited programs include classroom and laboratory work and learn about the teeth, gum jaws, and other areas dentist work with.

Reflection: I wouldn't like to be one because I wouldn’t want to be sitting around writing and recording files of the patients. I would want to have a job that would be more outgoing.
