“You can’t be right by doing wrong; you can’t be wrong by doing right.” - Thomas S. Monson

Thomas S. Monson states this quote. This means when you’re doing wrong it’s always never right. When you’re doing right it’s always never wrong. For example, if you decide to rob something from someone you would feel guilt in the inside because you knew it wasn’t the right thing to do. There will also be bad consequences to what you have done. On the other hand if you do the right thing like helping others or being kind to one another you wouldn’t feel any guilt because there was no damage done. You would even get good things coming your way. When you do the wrong thing it stays being the wrong thing, if you do the right thing it stays being the right thing. Do good you receive good, you do bad you receive bad. Doing the right thing is doing the right thing. Doing the wrong thing is doing the wrong thing.

“Enthusiasm makes the difference.” - Dr. Norman Vincent Peale

Being enthusiastic about something makes everything better. It pumps up the way you feel about something. Having a lack of enthusiasm makes you feel glum and bored. It doesn’t allow you to enjoy the fun of it. Having spirit  for different topics can make you feel more excited, energetic and it will allow you to enjoy it. Having no spirit at all makes subjects boring because you don’t get pumped up for it. I know I need to start getting more involved and more enthusiastic about certain things such as English, Spanish and Math. Having enthusiasm will most likely get your head out of the clouds. Having low enthusiasm makes you work slow and makes your mind think you’re bored. Having enthusiasm allows you to work faster and work hard, and work smart it will also change your attitude and how you see things.

“I wasn’t trying to leave a legacy. I was trying to do what was right.” - Dean Smith

This quote from Dean Smith means doing the right thing will get you somewhere and will guide you. Dean Smith lived with this quote he taught his team my things, he made them do what was right. They worked together to get to a point. Dean Smith is a legend he never intended to be a legend he was just doing what was right for him and his team. He gave his team some wise words and they accomplished so much. Doing the right thing will do good for you. Doing the wrong thing will do bad for you. Do the right thing and good things will come your way. You will achieve your goals by doing what’s right. You will get nowhere when you do the wrong thing all you get is trouble.

“It’s not about how to achieve your dreams. It’s about how to lead your life. If you lead your life the RIGHT WAY, the karma (good results, destiny, fortune, good luck) will take care of itself. The dreams will come to you. - Dr. Randy Pausch

This quote means leading your life in a positive way will allow you to achieve your goals/dreams. Leading your life the right way by making right choices will cause good luck and good karma will come to you. Making wrong choices and leading your life the wrong way will cause bad karma, bad luck for you and your future. Making the right decisions will soon help you in the future. Your dreams will come to you by luck and by making the right choices. Leading your life allows you to control what you do to yourself, body, mind, and spirit.Leading your life allows you to manage what you put into your body. It will soon affect your future and your dreams. Lead your life the right way and your dreams will come to you.
“Make Your Passion Your Profession”

My passion is playing volleyball. It’s my passion because I enjoy playing and I’m dedicated to playing it. I can make my passion become my profession by dedicating myself to playing it, continue playing it within the years and see where it takes me from there. There’s not really any education requirements needed to play the sport. Although a person must have good communication skills to work with teammates to work toward the team’s goal. A candidate must have a good attitude throughout the whole game and help their teammates throughout the game.

Reflection: In order to make my passion my profession I will determine myself to keep on pushing myself to get better on certain things. Practicing everyday to get to a certain point and having fun with the sport. Sooner or later volleyball will be my profession if I set my mind to reach that goal.

“Of all the work that is done or that can be done for our country, the greatest is that of educating the BODY, the MIND, and above all the CHARACTER, giving spiritual and moral training to those who in a few years are themselves to decide the destinies of the nation.” - Theodore Roosevelt

This means educating our body, mind, and character is the greatest thing. There has been so much that has been done for the country and the best thing is education ourselves to educate others about our body, mind, and character for the future. Keeping your mind and body healthy is important. Theodore stated educating ourselves on ourselves was the greatest. Why. Why is it so great. You educate yourself on the responsibilities you need to take as you get older. You know what’s right and what’s wrong. You educate yourself to make your future better.

“Take responsibility for YOUR OWN body, mind, and spirit, for your own physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.” - Mr. C. S. Haymore

Taking in responsibility for your mind, body, and spirit means making the right choices for you body, mind, and spirit. For example, making a decision to smoke isn’t going to help you with being well. Making right choices and choosing not to smoke will help your body, mind, and spirit stay healthy. Being healthy doesn't mean you’re fit from your body it means being mentally healthy and spiritually healthy. You make your own choices. You decide what you want to do with your body. Just know that making the right choices for yourself will make allow you to have a good future. Making the wrong choices may affect your future in a really bad way.

“Intelligence is not enough. Intelligence plus character, that is the goal of true education.” - Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

This quote by Martin Luther King means intelligence is not what true education means. True education means being intelligent and having good character. Intelligence doesn't mean anything. Having good character plus being intelligent allows you to achieve your goals. Having a good set of mind allows you to do your best and have the knowledge to make you believe you are and achieving your goals. Being intelligent guides you through the process of getting your grades and pushing yourself to be what you want to be. For example, having a good character lets you have a name for yourself.
