Dermatologist


Duties and Responsibilities: Dermatologist are physicians who treat conditions related to skin, hair, and nails. They do things such as record  patients health histories. They may perform skin surgery to improve appearance and control diseases such as skin cancer. They diagnose things such as acne, dandruff, athlete’s foot or moles.


Salary: Dermatology salary is usually a range between $272,793 - $370,586 a year


Education: Must take a four-year undergraduate degree including pre-medical courses in biology, organic chemistry, physics, and general chemistry. Dermatologist must attend a four year accredited medical school. Students must have a high undergraduate GPA, they must also take and perform well on Medical College Admissions Test. You must also take training to pursue the dermatologist career.

Reflection: I would like to be one because this would be a cool job to work with. Especially because you work with other people and have to treat skin  or different parts of the body. This would also be a great opportunity to get to know how the skin functions and what it does to the body.
