                                               Ear Nose Throat Doctor


Duties and Responsibilities: Ear Nose and Throat Doctor (ENT) is a physician trained in the medical and surgical treatment of the ears, nose and throat. They manage diseases of the ears, nose and throat.  They work with medical conditions such as ear infections, hearing disorders, allergies, sense of smell, or managing diseases in the larynx (voice box).


Salary: Median salary of an ENT would make is $307,859


Education: They would need a medical degree and take 4 years of medical school. Would take 3 years of residency training. Including 1 year of surgery training. Plus one additional year of training. In total ENT’s would have to take 5 years of training with 4 years of medical school.


Demand for this Profession: The overall physician demand is expected to grow at least 18% between 2012-2022. The need for ENTs should be greater.

Reflection: I would like to be one because you get to work with different parts of the body.  This seems like a very interesting job especially because you get to work with different medical fields.
