                          Pharmacist


Duties and Responsibilities: Responsibilities and job duties of a pharmacist are preparing medications by reviewing physician orders. They control medications by monitoring drug therapies. They consider medications to patients to cure disease, eliminate or reduce symptoms, prevent disease, etc. Pharmacist work in the field of health sciences focusing on safe and effective medication use.


Salary: $115,000-$125,000


Education: Becoming a pharmacist takes years of education to get the knowledge and information you need to know. A doctor of pharmacy is required. You will also need to complete a pre-professional track that is two years in length that includes courses in biology, chemistry, physics anatomy and physiology.


Demand for this Profession: The projected growth for this job from 2014-2024 is 3%. Although this field may add 9,100 jobs over that decade.


Reflection: I would consider being one because you get to work with different kinds of medicines. This is a job I might be looking forward to because it allows us to work with different patients and different sciences.
