Bora Bora

Bora Bora is northwest of Tahiti. This place is located in the Pacific Ocean. It is also known as Vava’u, Bora Bora translates as “first born.” Roogeveen first discovered the kingdom then James Cook sighted the island in 1770. Bora Bora became an independent kingdom until 1888. It was first occupied by Polynesian traders and colonists in the fourth century. The official spoken language in Bora Bora is french or tahitian. During the World War 2 the United States decided to choose Bora Bora for its military supply base. Like other parts of the sea dolphins, turtles, and whales and many other animals roam the waters in Bora Bora. This kingdom is also know for the best beach in the world because of the blue crystal clear waters. Although Bora Bora has these amazing things to do while there you might need to know there are no public transportations, so be ready to rent a car or ride a bicycle. I chose this place because I want to go visit some place different and the blue waters captured my attention and it just seems like a very relaxing view because of the sound of the ocean waves and it would be a really fun and great experience. Bora Bora is a very, very, very beautiful island and I hope I get to go here someday.
