Duties and Responsibilities: Architects design, plan and develop new buildings. They are involved in construction projects from the start all the way to the end. They have high drawing skills to draw building that will be functional, safe, sustainable and aesthetically pleasing. They travel very often to building sites, different locations and often meet with their clients.

Salary: $76,100 Median pay (annually)

Education: Architects are usually encouraged to seek out for an education from an accredited technical college or university. Although most architects get a 5-year bachelor’s degree in architecture. Architects must take a 3-year experience and then take their license exam. This license exam is required in all states. In order to take this exam one must have a professional degree and show a period of professional training.

Reflection: I would like to be one because I enjoy sketching and drawing it’s just that I’m not very good at it. Although I could keep practicing and get better at it. I would choose this career because I also like building stuff and just playing with objects to try to form something.
