Presidents Day


Presidents Day is a day celebrated as Washington's Birthday. It celebrates and honors all presidents in the United States. Washington was the first president of the United States and he played  a lot of important roles during his term. This holiday is always held on the third Monday of February. This holiday was originally held on the 22nd of February which was George Washington’s birthday but, they moved it to the third Monday of February. Some ways to show respect to our past presidents are to do fun activities such as researching different information about a certain president and sharing it to others. You can  also create monuments that relates to these past presidents, or try to remember all the past presidents. There many different ways a person can show respect. Presidents Day should be celebrated with respect. We honor the past presidents who have served our country. It is also known for Washington’s Birthday.
